Seville Street Map

When you visit Seville you are exploring the very heart of Andalusian culture, the center of Spanish Bullfighting and Flamenco music. And to interrupt sightseeing from time to time to munch a few “tapas”, those typical small Spanish dishes and a glass of Sherry wine found in hundreds of bars throughout the city add to rich experience of visiting Seville.  The main train station, Estación Santa Justa, is very near the old quarter of Seville so much of the sightseeing is within walking distance.

Barrio Santa Cruz, Seville’s old center formerly the district of Moors and Jews is a great place for walking and sightseeing. The King’s Palace or Alcazar in its typical Moorish architectural style and surrounded by high walls is the star attraction. The impressive Cathedral “La Giralda”, is another Seville landmark. Seville’s new tram line, which is drawn on the STREETWISE® Seville street map, cuts through the Barrio Santa Cruz. It goes from Plaza St. Sebastian to the City Hall, so one has the option of walking or riding through this lovely section of town.

Venturing along the river Guadalquivir you will come across San Telmo Palace, The Torrede Oro, a Moorish tower, the Teatro Maestranza, and the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza, the bullfighting ring of Seville.
